Kenya’s Harambee Stars are set for a crucial test in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, facing Zimbabwe and Namibia in September. Head coach Engin Firat has unveiled a strong provisional squad blending local and international talent, including key players like Michael Olunga and Joseph Okumu, as Kenya aims to secure its place in the tournament.

Kenya's Harambee Stars are gearing up for the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, scheduled to take place from September 2nd to 10th, 2024.

Placed in Group J alongside Cameroon, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, the Kenyan national team faces crucial matches against Zimbabwe and Namibia in their quest to secure a spot in the prestigious tournament.

Harambee Stars head coach, Engin Firat, has unveiled the provisional squad that will represent Kenya in these important qualifiers. The team is a mix of both local talent and internationally-based players, with notable names like Captain Michael Olunga, Joseph Okumu, Timothy Ouma, and Eric Johanna among those leading the charge.

Kenya will host Zimbabwe on Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Stade Mandela National Stadium in Uganda, and will then travel to South Africa for their match against Namibia.
